When whole communities are financially impacted by natural disasters it can send ripples of economic downturn throughout local and surrounding communities.
For communities to be financially sustainable there may have to be innovative and interactive approaches to maintain business survival during the immediate and long-term recovery. It is imperative that these initiatives be made available to local people who may need and want to re-invent their careers and/or businesses. Without local businesses it is hard for communities to regain and sustain their viability.
Currently Landscape of Compassion Inc is fostering community links with
Drought, Fire, Flood and Rodent impacted communities throughout Victoria.

We have the capacity through our contacts within other impacted regions to consult, liaise, facilitate, bridge and evaluate the needs and services that might be required for the recovery of local communities and their members.
Sometimes having independent facilitators, who do not reside within your community, may be of benefit in helping to establish and facilitate community consultations for the brainstorming of innovative approaches and the troubleshooting of identified issues for collective outcomes.
